Ice Cream Party

Since this was a kid's party, I kept it really simple. 

I knew they weren't going to appreciate hours of my hard work. 

So, I used the chalkboard and put together ice cream sidewalk chalk as a favor.

They cared mostly for the ice cream, so I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of time on it!

7-11: Free Slurpee!

Today is 7-11! That means FREE Slurpees at 7-11 today. 

Go grab one. I love when being festive is free!!

What a Surprise!

I was definitely surprised last Friday when my good friend Andrea posted that birthday message. Thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes. It was a great day! My husband surprised me all day long with little things. Little things are what life is about.

I hope you had a great 4th of July! We've been really busy around here lately, so unfortunately I didn't have the chance to do many festive things. (Which is really a shame because the 4th is my favorite holiday.) But, I'm still excited to share some fun summery things. And...the cookie contest is nearing the end. Just a few more to make.
